Questions

Eight questions about equipment order integration. Every question is required. A follow-up appears only when your answer needs one, and that follow-up is required too.

1

What is your preferred method of integration?

2

For order integrations, do you partner with a 3rd party commerce platform?

Examples include SPS Commerce, CommerceHub/Rithum, LogicBroker, and True Commerce.

3

What is your estimate of the number of orders per day your system will place with Motili?

A rough estimate is enough.

4

For each order, on average, how many line items do you expect to have?

5

Will your system accept order splits?

Example: you send one order with 2 line items (SKUs), each with a quantity of 10.

  • split-by-sku

Motili returns 2 acknowledgements, 2 shipments, and 2 invoices. Each document has 1 line item at quantity 10: a subset of the requested SKUs, with full quantities.

  • split-by-quantity

Motili returns 2 acknowledgements, 2 shipments, and 2 invoices. Each document has both SKUs at quantity 5: every requested SKU, with partial quantities.

  • no-split

Your system can accept only one acknowledgement, one shipment, and one invoice, and each must account for every line item on the original order.

6

Will your system require acknowledgements, shipments, and invoices to be communicated in a specific order?

  • Strict sequence

Acknowledgement must precede shipment, and shipment must precede the invoice.

  • Acknowledgement first

Acknowledgement must precede either the shipment or the invoice. An invoice before a shipment is acceptable.

  • No order requirement

Documents do not need to arrive in a specific sequence.

7

Will your system accept acknowledgement, shipment, and invoice documents that reference line items not on the original order?

Motili may substitute a line item when a SKU is out of stock, or for other reasons.

8

How will your system accept available product data and inventory status for SKUs that can be ordered?
